Mikkel Michelson on Mission Critical Interaction Design
In this video, Mikkel talks about designing in situations where the human life is closely related to the experience. He cites an example where workers at a nuclear reactor observed that two controls responsible for different functions looked almost identical. To prevent disaster they used the handles from beverage dispensers to differentiate the controls.

He explains the concept of U.I. friction and covers his 7 most important methods for reducing friction in user interface design.
